Chapter XI - Anticitizen One

After "Dog" Takes out the Combine Troops and the APC in grand style, he'll pull back a piece of a Combine wall, so you can continue.
Your start off in a dark elevator shaft and Dog follows soon behind you. You are actually in the same area where you began, near the train station. Move through the debris and out onto the open street. Once there, you will witness some very cool scripted scenes with Dog smashing the Combine resistance by hurling cars at them. He will then open the metal gate for you to get in.

In the Train Centre square, Dr Breen is 'shutup' as his screen is pulled down. Around to the right of here, a fence will be open by Met.Cops when you send your troops over to it.
Dog then flies off while trying to attack a Combine Dropship. Make your way through the building rubble, back to the Train Station Square. Go over the crooked fence to your left and move into the building. Then take a left and jump over the big pile of concrete. Move out onto the small alley to find a Resistance soldier shooting some Manhacks. Follow her into the main square and see a group of Rebels demolishing one of the many screens put up over the city. Once they're done, they join up with you to provide assistance.

Then look up to the High Combine Outpost; it's manned by two more Rebels who provide you with some supplies. Then move to the shiny metal gate on your right and wait for some Metro Cops to open it. Engage them and move up the stairs.

These are the Hoper mines the soldiers warn you off. Red ones are hostile, and will jump in front of you, and explode if you get too near. While redeployed ones, are green, and will not blow up in front of Gordon or the Resistance.
You will find another rebel from the resistance over here. She warns us about the Hoppers which have been placed all over the place. Hoppers are basically like mines which spring up and explode if you go near them. Use your Gravity Gun to pick each one up and replant them with the alternate fire key to set them in the neutral mode (for you and you and the Resistance only). Once you're done, go down through the hole in the floor and kill any headcrabs in the area. Go through the house and collect some supplies on the way. Kill one solitary headcrab on the other side and meet up with the female soldier. Get the neutralized Hoppers and plant them near where you are if you need to use them.

A resistance soldier on the other side of this rubble has the unlucky pleasure, to meet a Strider.
Make your way through the dark passage and wait for a Resistance medic to come join you. Once on the street, you will see a Strider in all its glory, shooting a Rebel on the other side of the rubble. It fires a shot or two and then goes away. Now kill the Combine Soldier on the Overwatch down the street. Then deal with a few headcrabs and dodge the Manhacks who drop some more Hoppers. Neutralize these, and move ahead through the desolate street. Be sure to carry one Hopper with you just in case. Clear out the dark passage littered with furniture with your Gravity Gun. Neutralize the Hopper in your way and keep it ready to be thrown. As soon as the Metro Cop starts shooting from the opposite Balcony, hurl the Hopper towards him and watch him die. Kill another Metro Cop who comes in from the left.

To your right is a small shack with two Hoppers and a few Med Packs. Clear out the Hoppers on your way to the shack and keep one armed with your Gravity Gun. The moment you enter the shack, a Metro Cop starts attacking from the opposite building window. Take care of him with the Hopper and move to left corner of the area with a gasoline barrel next to a wall. Shoot the barrel or move it with your Gravity Gun. Then move the steel panel to get to a secret room filled with ammunition and supplies. Once done, proceed down the stairs; again with one Hopper armed to take down three Metro Cops near another red shack in the distance. Stay clear of any Manhacks who drop more Hoppers from the heavens. Proceed with caution, for there is another Metro Cop in the shack. Take him by surprise, collect all the supplies in the area and go through the door near the supply crate.

...Take care of the Met.Cop, with the Hopper and move to left corner of the area with a Gasoline Barrel next to a wall.

Behind a sheet of metal here, crouch down to get some useful supplies.

You are now in a building complex. Battles are now going to be fought at close range. Generally, try to stay ahead of your squad to avoid any ambushes. Use your SMG here as ammo is plentiful in this level. Move up the stairs on your right to the top floor and enter the house. Take care of the Zombie in the kitchen and another one in the last room on the left. Collect six rounds for the Magnum. The Magnum is very effective even at long ranges — it kills most enemies with only one headshot.
