Lou Gossett, Jr. - Vortigaunt
Michelle Forbes - Dr. Judith Mossman
Merle Dandridge - Alyx Vance
Mike Shapiro - Barney Calhoun
Mike Shapiro - Gman
Harry S. Robins - Dr. Isaac Kleiner
Jim French - Father Grigori
John Patrick Lowrie - Citizens/Misc. characters
Mary Kae Irvin - Citizens/Misc. characters

We've been very fortunate in the professionalism and the talent of the people we've been able to work with. For example we had over 200 applicants for the voice of Alyx.

Lou Gossett Jr is an actor, he was in the Iron Eagle movies i believe. I would not be surprised if most of the other voice actors had hollywood backgrounds, it's pretty common these days.

From what I've read by what people posted here, it does sound like a very talented voice acting cast :) Of course from what I've heard from the videos, they have been excellent choices and their voices fit their characters PERFECTLY! :D
It's one of those unfortunate things in games, where the best things usually go unnoticed... Like you never pont out the voice acting unless it's really bad because usually the voice matches the character. Same with animation. You don't notice good animation, because you see real people doing it every day, and when you go in-game and you see an animation that you've seen people do (like walking) you usually don't notice.
Excellent work on the cast again :)

Robert Guillaume, the guy who voices Dr. Eli Vance, also voiced Rafiki in The Lion King:

And Michelle Forbes, who voices Dr. Judith Mossman, was Ensign Ro in Star Trek: The Next Generation. She also played Lynn Kresge in the second season of '24':

How about that?
And I knew that John Patrick Lowrie was doing random citizens. His voice in No One Lives Forever (as Bruno Lawrie) is so recognizable, and in the E3 demo, the couple comforting eachother ("We'll think of something") cleared all doubt.
Add to that a menacing drill instructor (Louis Gossett Jr.) doing the Vortigaunt, and you got yourself an all-round decent cast. I can already imagine a Vortigaunt bellowing down your ear: 'I thought we were training soldiers here! You maggot! Drop and give me 50! Sound off like you got a pair!'

It's only work if they make you...

Robert Guillaume
Robert Culp
Lou Gossett, Jr. (Note: His real name is Louis, but is sometimes credited as Lou)
Michelle Forbes
Merle Dandridge
Mike Shapiro
Harry S. Robins (Note: This guy was hard to find and had to look under one of his nicknames: Hal Robins)
Jim French
John Patrick Lowrie
Mary Kae Irvin (Note: Couldn't find photo.)
Ellen McLane (None found!)
Wow, some of those were hard to find (Couldn't find two), especially the last few! But here they are. I tried to get a photo so you can match face with voice. :)
Gabe, could you enlighten us with the pictures of the two I couldn't find?
Cheers!
