Sorry for bringing hthis up, but I've decided to start off with HL2 editing. I've made maps for HL1 in the past. but only at a basic level. But when I start Hammer Editor I first get a warning that tells me:

The configuration information for the game you're trying to edit is invalid or missing.

I select Run Anyway and Hammer pops up. But then I get another warning, that tells me that gameinfo.txt doesn't exsist in the SourceSDK folder. What should I do?

A box should pop up if your opening SDK for the first time or else just look up a tutorial in the Documents.

Before this you could just try to reset your SDK configurations.... I think there is a button to do that in the SDK.

And dont be sorry :w00t
