Justin_, you might want to add a no flashing sig section to your sticky. It has already been added to the new rules. Now we can finally clean out those flashing sigs... (I will PM you if you want names).

Updated first post + changed title for clarity.

Yeah, the cache refresh feature of the browser would probably solve the red X problem sometimes. I don't know the keypress for Firefox though.

Feel free to PM me about flashing sigs or sigs in general that do not follow the rules (It's not fair to you is it?) . I would guess I'm part of the new sig police. So watch out for private messages from me concerning sigs.

why am i reminded of my old nazis tails sig?

lol that was a brilliant sig... i loved it

Is there anyway that the 50KB limit can be pushed up a bit? Because that really limits the types of sigs that you can use.

Nope, has been asked a million times and the answer is always no. I don't really see the need for larger sigs though.

Unless you feel the need to have a long-loading gif movie in your sig, 50kb is fine. Any photoshop user worth his salt can easily make even the most complicated looking sig under 50kb.

I don't want to have bigger sigs, I just want to be able to use some of the animated ones that I've made.

By larger I ment in kilobytes, not pixels. They're pretty strict about this rule. For the entire length of time this forum has been up the only thing they've given to the users requests is that you're allowed is 2 lines of text below your sig instead of one.

Yeah, someone tried asking Bond to increase the limit.. All he got was a 2nd line for sigs with images..

Has the avatar size been increased... because I just noticed that this person's avatar is 80x80.

I mean that it displays at 80x80 when he posts, but previously if you had a 80x80 avatar it would still be displayed as 64x64.

I think they just forgot to switch the Default IPB avatars to 64x64.

No, it is one of the avatars from the "IPB Community Pack", which come with the forum:

I gather as a result, they are not subject to the 64x64 avatar size restriction. (I think they might be set by different restrictions) :o
