I think that Gordon Freeman is dead and that the G-MAN is an ArchAngel sent to earth to make sure that Freeman gets the job done.

when Freeman joined Black Mesa, they did something to his brain, which made G-man, in other words G-man is a fragment of Freeman's imagination. Everything was because of black mesa, teh combine, the portals to Xen, everything...

I agree.

Everyone knows Half-Life 2 takes place about 3 days after Half-Life. And that Gordon decides to work for the G-Man because if he didn't, he would be dead and there would be no Half-Life 2!

In the beginning of Half-Life 2 the G-MAN says "WAKE UP MR. FREEMAN" does this imply he was asleep or dead?

HL2 actually takes place 10 years after Black Mesa.

Just when I thought the forum threads couldn't get any more stupid... this person comes along and starts one that sets a whole new record in the low IQ region.
