That's the stupidest thing I've heard in all my life.

I agree.

Everyone knows Half-Life 2 takes place about 3 days after Half-Life. And that Gordon decides to work for the G-Man because if he didn't, he would be dead and there would be no Half-Life 2!

3 days? More like 5 or so years. Edit: Probably longer than that now that I think about it, but still, anyone who's played the game should know its been years.

I think that Gordon Freeman is dead and that the G-MAN is an ArchAngel sent to earth to make sure that Freeman gets the job done.

Spoiler>> It did seem kind of strange that Gman was transparent when he stopped time. <<

But I don't think he's an angel or anything. He's probably just some sort of transdimensional being with the power to manipulate time and space.

So Gordon was asleep for 5 or more years? I think he was dead and the G-MAN was sent by GOD to resusitate him and save the earth.

This seems a bit strange though given the total lack of ANY religious imagery or metaphors throughout the game.

That's pretty amazing! I heard some rumors on that, but thanks for confirming it.

By the way; try not to start new threads with silly jokes, leading towards flame wars.
