Hey all, I've been going to HL fallout for quite a while now and I figured it was about time I registered at the forums. I really enjoy Half Life and Half Life 2 and figured since I enjoy drawing and sketching as well I might as well start drawing some HL subjects...

Anyway, enough of the talking. Here are four of my most recent sketches:

Sketch 1
Sketch 2
Sketch 3
Sketch 4

I did use some screenshots provided in the other forums and others from screenshots located on this site. I tried to change the image somehow, and soon I'll try and draw my own subject matter from memory.

Tell me what you think... :smile

Interesting... I like the 3rd one. I wish I could draw, but everytime I try to draw something it turns out like crap. Anyways good work!

Good work. You show promise in becoming a artist one day.

I like. Some of the proportions are kinda wrong in some. But the characters look really solid, good work!
I love what you've done with the light in some of them. :smile

Edit: Would you be interested in drawing concept art in the future?

It has a very cool and interesting look. The only thing I can say against it is that some of the bodies look to skinny. I think it should look a little bulkier.

vary good shading, i love your lost and found lines.
one thing that bothers me though the proportions
on the 4th one and the 2nd one are off let me recommend some good web
sites for getting tutorials on that sort of thing.

www.polykarbon.com
www.conceptart.org

vary good otherwise

Thanks much guys, I enjoy hearing the criticism, because I know it helps me improve. I see what you mean by some of them appearing skinny.

That's a kick arse wallpaper stripes, I set it up as mine :8

As for the concept art, I may have to think about that. There are several things which eat up my time gradually. I'll definately PM you guys if I find a way to manage some of my time.

More to come tommorow, it's getting pretty late over here.

Heh. It's your art work. Alls I did was invert the colors, colorize it orange and make it monitor-proportionate. I'll do the same with the rest.
