dark pritty much got everything cept for the thin red line, whic is more of a human story than anyother WWII movie ive seen, and BOB is by far the most accurate equipment wise. And for those that dont like WWII themed things anymore, they are made for
A. War buffs like myself (hence the avatar once again, im in that photo)
B. So many battles means a billion diffrent possibilities
C. So people dont forget what happend and what those men had to go though (like that prince who wore the german outfit to a party a few weeks ago, no offence to anyone but WHAT A DUMB *******!)

Brothers in Arms is by far shapeing up to be the best WWII around, if gaer box can delive what they say they will. i was pritty let down with MOH PA

EDIT
Dont forget Empire of the Sun. that was a great film too.

Shame that we Canucks, didn't get any WWII movie in our honour. We landed on the second most heavily defended beach of the five landing sites chosen, suffered approximately 50 per cent casualty rates comparable to those suffered by the Americans at Omaha Beach and the 1st Hussars armoured troop was the only unit in Normandy that had reached its objectives.

By the end of D-Day the 3rd Canadian Division had penetrated farther into France than any other Allied force, having faced resistance stronger than at any beachhead save Omaha.

Call of Duty hands down gets my vote as the greatest WWII game, ever. Great singleplayer and multipayer, especially with Call of Duty: United Offensive. MoH:AA would probably be second on my list of WWII games, but I really didn't like the multiplayer. Day of Defeat isn't bad either.

Memphis Belle - about a B-17 crew on their last mission before they get to go home. I actually enjoyed this movie, though some might not. imdb link

dont you find it sick to play WW2 games, im mean i dont have a problem with games where you kill like Far Cry, Doom, HL etc but this actually happened at a lot of men around the age of many people on this forum lost their lives.

also many of these WW2 movies are riddled with inaccuracy, and show a bias towards oh, lets say the Americans, in just about all of them. and for the record for many thinking otherwise WW2 started in 1939 not 1941.

Worst WWII Movie: Battle for El Alamein.

Reasons:
  • The Italian army does not surrender and fights to death.
  • The Italian army is courageous. You can continue to read but I think I said enough.
  • The Italian army was using .50 M2 machine-guns.
  • The Italian tanks owned British tanks.
  • The British army gets pwned by the Italians even if they outnumber and out gun them by 4 to 1.
  • The way the American POW escaped the German camp was just retarded.
  • The Panzers who got owned by the British artillery were toys.
  • The British killed a German POW - Blasphemy !
  • The British were using M113's and M10 Wolverines - (Vietnam-era APC and a Tank-killer used as a ICV).
  • Rommel is small, he has a Australian accent and he does not look at all like Rommel.
  • Montgomery is tall, he has a American accent and he does not look at all like Montgomery.

Avoid this movie at all cost.
