Nasty RAM, but the rest of the rig is pretty damn good.

I'll rate the rig 8/10 because of the cool case and excellent motherboard. The processor is perhaps a little slow to handle both graphics cards so you'll get a bit of a bottleneck, and the RAM isn't particually great, which is why I had to mark you down :8

Very Nice, I would of gone over to ATI for my graphics instead but in the end its up to user choice, And i do not wish to start a war about graphics cards! :8

Very Nice though it ought to play HL2 beutifully.

Yeh RAM could or been better but...

8/10

Get CL2.5 RAM from another manufacturer instead. It's around the same price and you'll get a few fps increase.
Try http://www.newegg.co...-146-299&depa=1
or http://www.newegg.co...-145-440&depa=1

And to the fella who questioned purchasing a S939 system... *shakes head*

P.S. I really don't see the point of ditching the PSU that comes with the case for a generic one. Might as well put in a bit more cash and get a decent brand, or just stick with the Tt one first and buy a replacement later on if you suspect it isn't providing enough power.

It's almost worth quoting in your sig. Although the quotes you've got there now are better.

again I can't stress how much you'd be disapointed in the long run if you go dual 6600Gts instead of buying one 6800Gt now, then buying another later when you save up, I mean one 6800 GT can run today's games at max settings uno

and don't go Value Ram

7/10

I used to be an Intel/Nvidia guy but now I'm using a Radeon and my next CPU will be an AMD. In the interest of hardware performance, you really shouldn't be prejudiced against certain companies.
