Then what makes the run-and-gun shooting gameplay of Killzone 2 so special? What makes the universally panned archaic controls worthwhile?

People like to play the graphics + gameplay card so often they never stop to think that some people just find the gameplay itself boring.

Eat, the controls are not "panned" or "archaic". They are pretty good, but spoilt dipsh*ts who weaned off Halo think they're way too slow. I played the demo and they did take getting used to, but not complain-worthy.

I have to agree with Eaty, but all recent shooters are pretty boring, unless they have a great story like the hl series or the darkness for example. Story is the most important factor and very few games get it right.

And fps on console is just wrong anyway.

A couple of weeks ago, I played the PS3 version of Buzz with some friends while we were drinking before going out. It was really fun playing against friends, being competitive and trying to win (which I did of course...at least once).

I played the F.E.A.R 2 demo and it was OK, I'd play the hole game if I could but I also know that it would be "meh, it was OK" (just like the first one).

This is my first and last contribution in this thread since I don't have a PS3. Thank you and good buy!

you know, I've never had a girlfriend or done anything non-platonic with the opposite sex, so I'm having a little difficulty. It can't be done right as long as humans are involved. You can make up and maintain a personality to fool someone, but a computer can't do anything similiar.

You missed my point.

Your earlier argument was basically revolving around "The PS3 is factually the best system because the gameplay is awesome and the graphics are awesome". Rather than see the potential that the Xbox360 is preferable to some for entirely valid reasons, you piss all over it as if there is nothing appealing on the X360 for anybody.

its still worth it, but its glitchy and doesn't feel like a finished game to me. Visually its the bomb! but control wise and errors are prevalent
