Half-Life: Source is like Star Wars: Special Edition, not much has changed, though the nit pickers have a few stuff to cry about, but overall its the same experience, but looks better.
Some special effects were redone, it has Ragdolls and Physics (but they are kinda like Doom 3 physics, cause they aren't used.) and good water effects.
The game looks the same other than that. A few other minor changes and thats it.

Well i dont mind to wait... But iam getting sick and tired of mods always using the same city 17 textures. Its getting really repetitive now.
As we have said in many updates, the C17 Textures are place-holders. If any who has said that had bothered to check the STEAMPOWERED MOD SPOTLIGHT, they would have seen We've Got Hostiles in full out, custom texture, high-end, Source beauty. Shots are released as we feel the responsibility to update the public on our progression, to show to them we are keeping our promise of "releasing this mod and having it being the best damn Half-Life 1 experience on the Source engine". Custom textures are being created as the requests are made for level designers to finish the levels. Our designers work on a specific series of events:
Architecture > Models > Entities > Textures > Optimzation
AMETO. Level designers skip certain steps based on what they wish to accomplish. Something very, very special is coming up in a magazine. It will show you just how much time and effect we are putting into textures, entities, enemies and level design. It is our baby...
enfiladeDTS
thats because a lot of the new mods aren't total conversions. i'm anxious to see the goldeneye mod and hull breach.
We are a total conversion in almost-all senses of the phrase. Some weapons and some textures will be carried over, based on their ability to function in the universe we are overhauling. However, this percentage of carried over pieces is very small compared to the custom material we are hard at work creating.
