Note: This was the most recent Alan Wake thread that was still open (the other one got closed).

Alan Wake - In-depth Interview
Not a whole lot of new info but at least it's something.

Anybody link me to the new trailer? Hi-res?

Very. I mean this has to potential to blow everything out of the water. Especially when it comes to the storyline. This will be awesome.

Though... I'm sure you wont take my word for it. Just go to GT and watch some trailers and/or other footage (like the demonstration at the Intel Press Conference) and you'll be amazed. Oh and lets not forget, these are the guys behind one of the best series in gaming history, (IMO) Max Payne.

Payne to tha max baby!

God... Go to GT > User Movies > Search for Alan Wake > Should be some demonstration down there somewhere. Also, all the footage that already is available is entirely in-game. No CGI stuff going on there.

My favourite game series of all time, Monkey Island, had no combat what-so-ever, the story can make the game into something some much better, like a novel or something. However I think Alan wake has combat, like against those reaper looking guys.

The foot sinking into the ground really scared me. Almost as much as that Rosie Odonnel sex scene on nip/tuck.
