if i understand well the update i have to purchase DOD:source cause my version of hl2 is retail???

lol it's not exactly "free" for silver and gold since why they get it is precisely because they paid for it

im not sure but i think if you have the store bought hl2 you can get dod if you pay but if you got silver or gold (or whatever the hell else they had) its free. but like i said im not sure

If you bought HL2 in shops (standard or collector's edition), you'll have to buy DoD: S seperate.
