Those are ace Warven, I think the whole community is in agreement here, defiantly going to make one of these the banner!!
I think the colour one will be perfect, as it will make a really nice contrast to the whitewashed site.

just one thing- i think Gordon and Alyx should be in the middle of the banner and l4d and TF2 on their sides ..

I agree with this. I know L4D is more popular, but lets not forget where it all began.

I had the same 1st reaction about gordon & Alyx too...
However, I think the main point why L4D is in the middle is because the characters are already positionned like that in the original picture, and that pic of Gordon & Alyx is already them leaning kind-of to the side...I don't think it'd look as good aestheically.
