Oh my gosh! Lookie what I have discovered!

"Season three will begin airing on October 4, 2006. It will include 23 episodes that will be delivered in two blocks: an initial fall arc of six episodes and a second run of seventeen consecutive episodes beginning in February 2007. According to executive producer Damon Lindelof, there will be new characters introduced this season as the fans get to know more of the plane crash survivors. There will be fewer flashbacks of the original characters since the new ones will have their own that will become a unique and central component of the series. Lindelof and Carlton Cuse have planned for the third season to focus on the Others, as led by "Henry Gale", their history, their numbers and ranks, and their goals."

Awesome.

Nope, I'm afraid this is where LOST piddles out. There's so much going on that the show is starting to lose its charisma. I'm afraid I'm beginning to lose interest; it was more fun when it was about being stuck on an island. Now it seems salvation or the mainland is just around the corner and there is no sense of struggling. The moment they started to get regular shipments of supplies is when it stopped getting interesting for me. I don't know; we'll see what happens.

i dont like that they are gonna introduce new people and their flashbacks in the next season, seems like theres gonna be a lot of useless episodes about characters that are lame, like those old people lol.

I for one am tired of Charlies drug problem flashbacks and besides how do you know that the other people are lame. They might have interesting stories.

You mean Rose and Bernard? The ones who are pretty central to the whole 'Island has healing properties' story thread?

Yeah, you're obviously too young/stupid to watch this show.

Awesome.

Hm I don't hope there will be like a poo-load of new charachters that have magicly appeared on the island.

EDIT: Then again it could also go on about those people on the main land and the girl from desmond.

Hah, I feel like a little girl:
I'm glad Claire finally kissed Charlie and I'm glad Kate looked at Jack and not at Sawyer at the end.

Kate also gets boob grabbed in that episode.

I agree, i tend to get attached to the established characters and prefer the story to focus on them.

I don't know, guys, I think it's a good idea to focus on some other characters. There are about 40 people there now (hopefully no less - three in particular) and staying with only a baker's dozen (again, hopefully no less) can start to get tangled. It's a great way to say that the main characters thus far aren't the only interesting people on the island. And learning about the Others is something we've all been looking forward to. We've actually learned alot from Season Two. Sort of.

I just don't know how you're supposed to open a season after a finale like that!

Im wondering whats going to happen to Sayeed. Hes the only main character they left rather abrubtly....... I guess he will get caught maybe trying to rescue the others. But i have a feeling its something more important than that because otherwise they could have done it in the finale.

as long as they don't get flashback happy. i adore this series and every aspect but the last few episodes aside from the season finale felt like half of the episode was going to flash backs. maybe they always were doin that, but it felt a little much near the end.

you know, I've never had a girlfriend or done anything non-platonic with the opposite sex, so I'm having a little difficulty. It can't be done right as long as humans are involved. You can make up and maintain a personality to fool someone, but a computer can't do anything similiar.

It's all about the flashbacks man, seeing how everyones fate was twined together. Flashbacks are what make this series.

I find lost very confusing... Maybe its because I only watch it when it happens to be on... I think I skipped from the first episode to like one of the lastest ones!
