Ok, so this has been going on for some time already.

My problem here is that there is a 'lag' problem. However, i pinged the servers that i was in, and it was still under 50.

On other servers, i do a 'walk 3 steps, teleport 1 step back' thing every 2 - 3 seconds, which is really getting on me.

Here is a .dem file of what i recorded in cs 1.6.

Please help me :(

EDIT : And yep, deleteing the cstrike folder, reinstalling, didn't help.

Search something up and then click on it. Following that a tab will appear that says "Ask a question" at the top, click it.

Ok well i want to ask a few questions.

Last night, the game was working fine.

However, this afternoon, my player was like sped up with speedhacks and stuff (seemed like), but the only prob was that you teleport back a few paces. And just a few hours back i tried hosting a game for my friends... and all time was sped up by like 2 - 3 times. The draw was so much faster, animations too, player movement, reload, shooting (and now the machinegun really sounds like one).

The only difference between the 2 sessions was that i installed a few custom models and sprites.

And now that there's a prob, i deleted the models and sprites. Problem still persists.

Now i'm reinstalling / updating cs. Hope it works, but please give your views on this problem thing, and what might have happened.

It might have been a server you joined. I remember I once joined a server that messed up my keyboard configuration. Do you play on servers that are modded/have custom content?

Other than amx modded servers, no.

And now even my server is being affected.

Even after reinstallation :w00t

Try deleting the configure files of the games, the game folders (not gcfs). And IIRC theres a console command to speed things up and down. Look it up
