Hey soz about double post! SPOILER!

apperntly the aliens that came down from wherever cant live in hot conditions and are turning the jungles into a giant fridge and i guess their plan would be to take over the world and turn it all to ice.... heres the screeny!

http://www.lesjeuxvi...e-1-1528-7.html

If that's true, the aliens will be defeated out of sheer stupidity. Why change a tropical jungle into ice when there are huge lands that no one goes to at the north/south pole?

heh thats a good point, although from some screens it looks like it crash landed rather them just picking a spot to park

Yeah, they'll find some way to work it in there. I do like how they are trying to mix two different kinds of landscape and push limits though.

Isn't this only the bridging game from Crytek? Built on the original cry engine with a few tweaks.

Actually the engine is updated to Cryengine 2. It is a lot more improved then the original engine. Many new features have been added like soft shadows and leaves on every tree being physics enabled.

The physics to far cry imo wasn't that great hopefully they updated that aswell.

I personally think UT07 looks nicer.

Definitely worth having! Can't wait for it.

Besides, it just shows how inadequate the Valve development team is. Cryengine got updated within 2 years to this perfection, whilst Valve still has trouble weeding out fundamental bugs from Source.
