Definitely worth having! Can't wait for it.

Besides, it just shows how inadequate the Valve development team is. Cryengine got updated within 2 years to this perfection, whilst Valve still has trouble weeding out fundamental bugs from Source.

Is it just me or are you looking for any reason possible to rip on Valve? STFU, it gets annoying after a while, quit dragging your feet about how much you hate Valve and ect. don't like them? Fine stop complaining and play other games. Everytime we talk about a game it is "Oh like this game and BTW VALVE SUX!" we get the picture already we know you hate Valve. When Valve wants to update they will, they have already made one update a long time ago, HDR anyone? Though it takes a heavy machine to run it.

Well I am downloading the crysis trailer now to see for my self how good it looks.

You've all seen the new video I hope - it looks just great! From what I've heard it's using DirectX 10 so I guess I won't be playing it any time soon....

Windows Vista has been delayed and won't be released until next year - I "think" that will effect this games launch-date as well (DirectX 10 = Windows Vista's big thing = No Crysis before Vista?).

Far Cry was underrated, even though many disliked the Trigens (monsters of Far Cry) and the fact that the game was quite long and repetitive I still think that it was a really nicely done game with wonderful sound-effects and is STILL the game that has utilized graphics in such way that it actually really improves gameplay (mainly talking about the effect that different grenades had on you vision/hearing).

This game has new vehicles and the story and gameplay seems pretty cool. It seems pretty unique from what I've heard and I hope it will live up to my hype.

Synopsis:
Crysis seems pretty good! :8

Underrated? Everytime I turned my head the game was getting 5/5 and 9s then I talk to people and they loved it including me, but when I ask them about instincts they said to stay away from that it stinked. Does it?

I never liked Far Cry, it was beautiful, but I didnt like it. I always wondered why everyone raved about it.

Yeah, it did get good reviews but I've seen many people on forums that disliked the Trigens, they even wrote that fans didn't like them in PCGamer. Some people on forums disliked it; just look above this post...

About Halo 2 not coming:
Yeah, that's quite sad as well - I've played it through on a borrowed Xbox and the game isn't fantastic but it's still a good game. I've seen some speed-runs on it aswell and there is a trick called Sword-flying which really looks cool! So I hope that "glitch/bug" will be in the PC version.

This has been discussed here numerous times already. But uhh I'm excited for it, provided it doesn't suck like FarCry did half way through.

Nope looks like its going to once again go into some crazy storyline.

Since BFG reported it's gonna start releasing it's PhysX Aegia card starting May, has anyone heard if this new Crytek engine is going to support the PPUs? I think that'll be awesome; those graphics are incredible and I can only imagine playing a war game w/those graphics backed by a hardware physics processor!!!
