Well since even after my cooler I could cook eggs on my video card and it would cause my comp. to resart while playing BF2 I sent it back to ATi. Hopefully they will fix it. Although if they can't fix it will they give me a new card or what? I mean mine is no longer made anymore...

What card was that?
Generally even if a product has been discontinued, the manufacturers and distributers will still hang on to what is known as "buffer stock" to replace RMAed ones.

K thx, and no... I always get confused with those signs... I was just wondering one tiny little thing more... If I get an ASUS with AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego with the X1800XT can I run FEAR or Quake 4 on pretty high settings?

It's definately better to wait for Direct X 10 than spending that kind of money for a Direct X 9 card. But god knows how much the Direct X 10 cards will be in terms of pricing.
