I love Interpol. Well the first album is great. Admitedly I haven't listened through their second one yet, cause it was too boring.

yeah there first album was awesome, but listen to Evil from the second. It's the only song I like from it.

PDA - Interpol

I dont listen to these guys that much, but this is my favorite song by them. I dont really recommend the rest of their songs though.

Ugh...Interpol are so boring. I swear that their vocalist is a robot. I don't know why I used to like them so much.

Listening to Children of Bodom.

I'm in such an angry/bored/tired mood I need to be snapped out of it. Or embrace it. Either way lightning fast shredding, double bass pedals and shreiking do it for me. I'm listening to the album Hate Crew Deathroll. It's great, I've never heard any of their other material, but I heard it's more raw and not as tight. Maybe I'll check it out one day.

I'm listening to The Sword right now. They are so awesome, yet barely anybody seems to have heard them. They're a heavy metal band who sing about Nordic mythology, I defy you to tell me how that's not what metal should be all about. They have some of the catchiest guitar riffs that I've ever heard. It's as if Queens of the Stone Age and Black Sabbath had a lovechild.

Awesome signature.

I would have one, but at this point I would look like a poser. :tongue

But we already know you are....

I'm listening to Opeth. Bodom was too amateur for my tastes right now.

Oh I know, I couldn't agree more.

Right now i'm listening to some Electric Six, good fun music, from time to time.
I'd probably recommend their 'Fire' album, it's a better than their second, 'Senor Smoke' imo.

Normally, I'd smite you for that comment, but since you're listening to Opeth I shall spare your life.

Sounds like some high class cheese you've got there, ranking up to the likes of Rhapsody.

In my mind, that is some awesome *******.

Track: Phototropic
Album: ...And the Circus Leaves Town
Artist: Kyuss

I love this band. For those of you who don't know who Kyuss are, they were the band Josh Homme was in before he formed Queens of the Stone Age. This is one of my favourite albums, and i'd highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys QOTSA's sound.

I can't believe the other listening thread was closed. Don't you realize what we've lost? If we had made it to 1,000 posts, we would have become immortal... but... I guess that's not the staff's 'thing' here on HLF. Psh. I mean, it's just immortality for all eternity until Duncan McCloud cuts off your head and gets struck by lightning, right? Right?

You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I'm listening to "******* 'em" by the Geto Boyz. It's not the best rap by any means, but it's entertaining.

i'm not a big fan of ambient music. but i do like lounge music better. if you ever have the chance to drink in a bar that has couches and lounge music you will never see a fight, or a person swear really loud...and it has great drinking with friends and a fun atmosphere.

like i said earlier though, death cab for cutie is great for when your having a bad day. i was so pissed off when i came home from work i had to throw on death cab. it relaxed me so much that i felt like i wasnt even at work. death cab is indie rock
