Many thanks Seeker, and we can't view the release notes.

Etc.
I'll have a peek. Looks like this is Vista CrossFire OpenGL fun.

Hmmm.... To bother with the new CCC, or not to bother with CCC.... I don't ever use it and have ATITool in it's stead.

Fixed :8

I've got a quick question about which ATI drivers you guys would recommend for a X1650Pro?

I recently bought my girlfriend a new video card so she could play WoW at decent frames with some eye candy. I get pretty decent fps at 11x8 with most things maxed. I'm just wondering what you guys know about optimized drivers. I haven't owned an ATI card in a long time, long before they started actually owning nvidia in the driver department.

Well, since it is a X1k series card, I would hope regular drivers do the job nicely.
People with cards like... 9800 or that era might be the ones looking for specialized drivers.

If anyone knows something to the contrary, do speak, I don't really know.

Sorry for the double post, but it has come to my attention that Catalyst 7.3 leads to BSOD in Vista.
So, if you are thinking of moving to 7.3 or have been experiencing infamous blue screens for Vista, heres an answer.

The problem is being investigated and a solution is to be conjured soon enough.

It pains me to see all of you downloading them monthly catalyst updates from ATI (the bestestz in the world!) without any problems. But here I am, stuck with my new Nvidia card.

Hopefully I'll return to ATI someday. :(

A fix for the 7.3 Vista BSoD has been posted on DriverHeaven forums. (Yes, it is official.)
Apparently the fix also adds Crossfire support for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

Bon appetite!

I hate having to double post like this.... But...

A Catalyst 7.5 Hot Fix Update has been released.

Quote

We have issued a hotfix update to Catalyst 7.5 that addresses an issue with Armed Assault.

Even if you dont play this game, you should still try them out as they are more new than Catalyst 7.5

You can pick it up here.

The irony of this all is that I still have the 7.5 installer sitting on my desktop... :tongue

And what if you use Vista? You should change the link to http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html instead.
