so it seems like they were showing an Uncharted film on TV, it was something about an asian emperor being revived and then there were some scenes about people in the alps or something climbing while generic orchestral uncharted music played, and there was some witty character who kept spouting one liners.

Just watched Thor since it was on TV. It wasn't as bad as I expected it to be (which was a total shitfest), but it wasn't very good. At least I could stare at Natalie Portman.

Oh yeah, I remember Shutter island. I saw in in theatres a few years ago, when my father was visiting. (worth seing)
Just as we walked out, discussing the film we just saw, as people do, he said "this is exactly the kind of film they make videogames out of".
Oh boy, he lives such a sheltered life from the superhero crap and other hollywood junk.
I did some research for the lulz, and it turns out they did actually make a shutter island videogame, but it's one of those shovelware hidden object games.
Generational gap ahoy.

Been following Game of Thrones season 2 now that it is currently airing. The beginning of the season a little slow, but good nonetheless. The fourth episode on the other hand was really tense at times. Crazy ending too. Any of you guys following this show? (yeah, a dumb question if you ask me)

I just saw the first Ghost Rider film. I kept expecting it to be a pile of shit like everyone said and start browsing the internet while it played in the background (like it happened with Iron Man 2 and Captain America), but it was actually pretty decent since I didn't give a shit about it not staying true to the comics (which are godawful like most of the medium) or about the satanic references some reviewers complained about.
I give it 3.5 Jarrods out of 5.

Just watched the first season of Game of Thrones, got it as a birthday gift. 
I really like it and can't wait to begin with the second season!
