Well I expected some sort of light-hearted adventure story through a fantasy labrynth. But Pan's Labrynth is dark, scary, gory, sad, and visually stunning. The acting is superb, and the sets are elaborate and believable; the movie really draws you into the story.

Evil Dead was decent, a nice low budget B movie that's cheesy and gory and just plain fun to watch and funner to laugh at. For my expectations it was too much cheese and not enough gore, but it was still pretty satisfying. I recommend for watching with friends, even if just for the infamous tree rape scene. I can see why it's a cult classic, but I'm hoping Evil Dead 2 really ramps it up to satisfy my bloodlust. 3/5
Snakes on a Plane was pretty disappointing. Not enough mother*******ing snakes on the mother*******ing plane! For those 10 ridiculous minutes where you see snakes biting the crap out of the passengers (and their tits), this movie was gold. Unfortunately Sam Jackson had to rally everyone together and save the day, and the rest is easily forgettable. I would say more, but I really and honestly don't remember. This is a bad "bad movie." 2/5
Crank was just what I expected it to be: stupid ridiculous action. No prologue, no backstory, no drawn out "return of the king" ending. Jason Statham gets poisoned and in 83 minutes he kills the guy that did it, that's it, but for the most part it's so fast you can't help but be entertained. This is by no means a good movie, but it doesn't pretend to be and if you can accept that you can really enjoy it for it's random violence and low brow humor. My biggest disappointment is that there isn't enough hand to hand combat. This is a movie starring martial arts guru Jason Statham up against a Chinese mob! What a waste! Nonetheless, I can recommend this as a good movie to watch ESPECIALLY if you're in an altered state of mind. Or if you have ADD. 3/5

If you liked Evil Dead even a little bit, Evil Dead II will rock your world. It's hilarious, rent it NOW. And get Army of Darkness while you're at it.

It was really good. I'm still collecting my thoughts about it.

Xbox Live: Z0RiN
"Doom 4"
...and uhh, Paul Allen. I killed Paul Allen with an axe..in the face. His body is dissolving in a bathtub in Hell's Kitchen.

Evil Dead 2 is one of my favorite movies of all time (hence the avatar).
However, it's a step down from the relentless gore of the first. However, it doesn't fight the cheesiness like the first did, and it just rolls with it. One of the most unexpectedly funniest movies ever, period.

THE OFFENSES..
1. Memorable characters with personalities or quicks that make sense? No.
2. Jokes that just don't seem to make sense or aren't funny at all.
3. Attempting to spoof movies that are funnier than Epic Movie itself.
4. A plot that makes little to no sense.
5. Disgusting continuity issues - even if they were intentional they were not funny.
I'm sure there's more reasons that other people can help elaborate on, but I'm done.
I don't care if I spoil this for anyone or not, but what the ******* was up with the ending? After they escaped "Gnarnia" (lolol rite? no), did the Willy Wonka guy just decide to give up?
