Yeah, the AI is ALWAYs right behind you, so if you crash, you'll go from first to 13th and not be able to get back up in the pack. Also if you arent going fast enough, you'll hit rocks or a wall and you'll stay there, not crash, and have to back up, losing even more ranks. So annoying.

No game worse then the last races of Need For Speed : Underground. I was stuck on race 72 (or was it 76?) for what seemed like weeks.

catch up- when AI slows down/speeds up unnaturally to make the race closer.

The PS3 is getting DLC as well, and the PS3's also got the Blu-Ray factor which could lead to more ambient noises/ more diverse pedestrians. Not being a fanboy, just laying it out on the table.

Where did you read that? Everything I've read says the DLC is 360-exclusive.

Hope it's not a repost ;P

We sent three gaming editors to glimpse the most anticipated game in history. Here's what they saw.

It was a hotel room in San Francisco, very much like thousands of others, but with one big difference: This hotel room contained three GamesRadar editors, two representatives from Rockstar, and one Xbox 360 debug unit running a demo version of Grand Theft Auto IV. Which made it the best hotel room in all of San Francisco. There will be zillions of words written about the game in the coming months, but we thought we'd start by letting you listen in to our post-rapture brain dump.

I think there might be currently 5 most-anticipated-game-ever games in development right now.

So far I think GTA 4 looks very disappointing in the graphics department.

Distant buildings look like 2D cutouts, probably due to LOD levels. Road textures look incredibly stretched to fit the road size. Buildings appear to have low resolution textures in general. Character models don't look as good as Half-Life 2 either...

I can see the cause of some of these things being that the scenes are just so large, so characters have to take a hit to polygon counts. However this doesn't explain the low resolution textures when they have the magical blu-ray.

Hmm...Halo 3, GTA 4, Spore, the next Zelda (well that one's many years away), Starcraft 2.
Something like that I reckon.

still the rest of the console needs to be able to run the game and they aren't making 2 different versions for the PS3 and the xbox360 as far as I know so that cuts out the blu-ray factor

whaa?? the game isn't even out yet! And no, the game looks absolutely wonderful in motion. Did you see the pics of downtown? It looks surprisingly real...too real. So real that I would think twice, nay, THRICE before mugging a random passerby. Besides, it still got a few months ahead, and thats where the tune-up tweak-phase kicks in. I'm sure they will be able to crank some more out of the hardware by then.
