Disclaimer: DO NOT POST IN MOST OF THESE THREADS SINCE THEY'RE DEAD

Last night I had an hour or so doing nothing. I was bored. So, I decided I'd use the search function to dig up some old threads that have made some kind of history here on hlfallout.

If you want in on this Nostalgia just go to your user profile and search for all of your posts. Then you go back, and back, and back, and back. Im actually quite shocked by some of my old posts :P

As for the threads, here they are!

1 - False Gold
Remember when Gabes account got hacked and we all got fooled into thinking Half-life 2 was gold? We were all thanking Gabe, promising him gifts and saying we'd forfil his every sexual desire. Then we found out it was a hacker.
- Phake Gold

2 - Hackings
Speaking of hackers, Its not like they are rare here. We've had plenty of hackings. These are just a few.
- Hacked!
- Hacked! 0.2

3 - HL2 Bugs
Half-life 2 got released and all was good.. until most of us got eaten by the bugs. Remember how angry and fustrated you were? How dissapointed you were? Its all in here. (For the record - My copy worked fine.)
- Bugs!

4 - Episode 1 Speculation
Ahh the good days of speculation. All those questions; now answered of course, lie in here... What the heck is that blue thing anyway?
- Ep1 Spec 1.0
- Ep1 Spec 2.0

5 - Me being 7 hours early for Ep1
I was 7 hours early for Episode 1's release. The topic then turned into yet another speculation thread.
- The 7 Hour Wait

6 - Episode 1 release
One sunny day last summer Valve granted us with this holy grail of an expansion pack. Amazon kindly brought it to my door. I was in-fertile for weeks after playing.
- Ep1 Release

7 - The hilarious musilm tantrum
One day some Dutch guy made an ..innocent... cartoon about the Muslims. They were not impressed. We were humoured. W-Ninja posted this.
- Hissy-Fit

8 - The day w-Ninja took over
Speaking of W-Ninja... Craziest damn thread this forum ever saw. This is utter chaos.
- April F00

9 - Eon8
One of my favourite threads, I remember this one the most (Probably because it was my prom night, and I couldent concentrate because I couldent stop thinking about the damn Eon8 timer!) This thread goes from the start, to the very finish of this creepy Hoax.
- Eon8

10 - Worst Fallout Fan-Fic Ever
Just.. hilarious..

11- Best threads of 2004
A fellow mod did a very good job of finding all of the awesome threads from 04.
- 04 Threads

12 - HLF Wiki Thread
Bunch of Fallouters made a HLfallout Wiki page.
- HLF Wiki thread

13 - Nav's trip to Valve
Plenty of hype surrounded Nav's trip to heaven.. Valve even.
- Nav's thread

14 - Babe Threads
Everybody got to post pics of their favourite babes.... Wearing hardly anything of course...
- Babes in a thread 1
- Babes in a thread 2

15 - NickNitro's Murder thread
This thread still shocks us.. in a silly way..
- REDRUM

More links to come. I've missed loads so feel free to post some and I'll add them to the list.

Goood point about the disclaimer there.

We gotta leave them be - like old parchment or some ancient crap.

Yeah I don't want people posting in thread being like 'oh I remember that!' or restarting old fights. Then there's new people who don't know the rules but want in on the action. I'll see if I can find my fave thread.

The worst fan-fic in the history of the world

I'm not posting it to show how funny I am or anything like that, plus ignore my assholeness, but yeah. Terrible fan fic, I mean wow.

Well...he was that moment's semi-official HLF village idiot.
It's not as bad as John Freeman, though...

Maybe it's high time HLF got a "golden oldies" subforum in which it's impossible to post new topics/reply to old topics but overwhelmingly popular/funny topics will be moved there once they've finished their role?

I like that idea, but if they won't make sub forums for the major consoles, I don't think they'll make one for "golden oldies" :(

You speak of "them" as if it's impossible to talk and persuade. As if "they" decide and that's it. Remember- EatChildren, Retro and the rest are all human people beings persons (very nice ones at that) and we can try and reason with them if we find it important enough..
