Scuba Diving anyone been?

EDIT . . . I'm getting my certificate so I can scuba in the cayman islands, anyone have any pointers for me?

Sadly, both my parents were into scuba diving in their late 20s, and it just would not have done for me to get into it as a rebellious asshole teenager.
Fortunately getting wet in 1°C water is a tradition in Finland, just make a hole in the ice, drink booze and heat the sauna.

I swam in alaska during the summer one time in wasilla lake. It was about 45°F

they tried it, and everyone raged, never gonna happen cause it would be "too european/socialist", its just too ingrained in the american culture. maybe in a few generations...

It's the most logical scale.
Getting everyone on the same system would probably clean up on conversion errors, especially since gram and liters scales are internationally used a lot in technical professions.
