Got me an HD6950, pictured here next to my outgoing 4870. Got it for $200 on sale at Newegg. I'll miss you 4870, you served me well.

Also, how come everything else in the tech world is getting smaller and lighter except these?

Yeah, the track-pad looks smaller than it actually is,it's just about the right size.
The amount of stickers is because it's straight out of the box, hadn't even removed the protective plastics yet. some of those are gone now.

And the reason I was saying 1080p seems weird on 15 inches is that my old 15 inch lappy only went to 1440x900.

Also, the GPU is so new that nvidia don't even have drivers for download yet, stuck on 295.63.

Also upgraded. It's so cheap that there's just no reason not to. Not even sure if I need any of the new features, but the airplay mirroring thing seems to be cool if I ever get an Apple TV.

Edit: The notification center is pretty cool. Also Twitter (and FB integration soon) is a plus.

Really I think the next version of osx should be free, they are charging so little for it at some point wouldn't it just make it better to be free so it's one more bullet point they have over windows.

Doubt they will do that. Sounds like bad business. I think it's nice how it is done now. Some bigger features in a cheap package. No need to reinstall OS X ever. I don't see many upgrading to Win8 because of Metro, too much hassle and the need to learn something new (people don't like change).

Do you really need THAT many macro keys in your mouse? You could fit a numpad in there! :D

Funnily enough, it's bound to all the numpad numbers and Num+ and Num- hah. Plus the third mouse button(G-shift) can be used as a modifier to make another 12 buttons. It is overkill, but it is a quality mouse.
