It's really good.
About 4 hours of SP content which is about on par with the length of the two DLC episodes combined.
There's also a bunch of combat challenges for when you are done with the SP.
Can't wait for Alan Wake 2 now.

Any idea if that will be coming to the PC?

The developers said that they're "thinking about it" in something a couple of days before Alan Wake PC was released. They made it seem like they would do it if Alan Wake PC was a success and, it was.
There's a guild wars 2 open beta for the next 24 hours. I'm letting you all know as well as saving this for myself later when I get home from work and back to my desktop since it wants to scan my pc for hardware detection.

*Edit*
3 areas in the story I mean.
There are a bunch of areas in the arcade section of the game. But there's no story there aside from the intros from the narrator.

The combat is very, very easy. Enemies don't throw their weapons at you anymore, so you no longer have to worry about dodging objects. The slow motion whenever combat ends and sometimes even when it begins is still around, making every encounter feel artificial and giving it a clear indicator of when you should let your guard down. The infinite ammo boxes are everywhere, making conservation a non issue. The amount of items you can carry is pretty big, 10 flare guns, 5 flash grenades, 5 flares and 2 weapons? They should've limited all the items and flare guns to 4 or so. As it stands you have to try very, very hard to die in this game.
I really liked the open levels though, even when they repeated themselves in Acts 2 and 3 it wasn't a big deal because they got shorter and they changed enough things to keep them interesting.
Dialogue and story were good and the line
A LITTLE BEER, A LITTLE FUN
makes me laugh for reasons beyond my comprehension. I really liked the FMV cutscenes. Ending was very good, which surprised me because I was expecting a 5 second clip with a hook to buy the eventual u$60 sequel.
I didn't check the Arena mode yet, but I like that they apparently made brand new levels for it instead of cutting up small areas of the campaign maps like most games tend to do.
Hopefully there will be more episodes in the future before they make a sequel for the Xbox 9000 or whatever it's going to be called.
Everyone buy it.
