The Sniper Elite V2 demo was great, but the regenerating health almost kills the game. There's very little point in using your binoculars to search for enemy snipers when you can just go out into the open, get shot to see where the sniper is, then take cover and be in great condition again 2 seconds later. It would benefit a lot from a health bar and medkits you could carry and pick up from dead enemies.
I bought The House of the Dead 4 off the PSN and beat it today. It was pretty good and the final two levels of the game made me feel pretty nostalgic (oh god i sound like drmatta) since I played 1 and 2 to death between 2000 and 2002 and the 4th game heavily references the second, which I spent an inhumanly long time playing in arcades back then.
I'm playing the Devil May Cry HD collection right now and DMC2 is even worse than I remember, outside of the gloomy atmosphere and
this track I'm surprised Capcom didn't end the series right there and then, though if I remember correctly DMC2 was the one that sold the most out of all the games despite the poor reception it got.
