Battlefield 3's SP was so bad that I never beat it, co-op was one hour long and throughly mediocre and the MP consists of spawning, walking for 10 minutes then getting sniped by someone on the other side of the map.

Terrible game.

I never beat the SP either. I only played the first 3 or so levels and when it hadn't gotten any better, just moved on to the MP. I enjoyed the MP a lot, though. It isn't as much fun to run around by yourself since that will just result in getting sniped, but playing with 3 others so you have a 4 man team working together is a lot of fun.

In one match, my 4 man team held a warehouse from enemy soldiers and tanks throughout the entire round. By the end of it, the thing was as destroyed as it possibly could be. That was probably one of the most intense multiplayer matches I've ever played.

But I loved battlefield 2's mp, is it really that much different? I've played some of 3 on a console, it felt like an upgraded version of 2 which I feel is awesome.

Just played a little American nightmare, really enjoying it. It ran really well at full settings unlike Alan wake so I'm guessing they either optimised it better or maybe all the trees in Alan wake were too pretty to handle.

I kinda like how it's more open world but that means its hard to find things without having the HUD on at all times which is a shame because I like playing Alan wake with it off.

It is pretty much an upgraded BF2, and if you enjoyed the bit you played on console, then you'll love it on the PC with 64 player matches.

I liked Bad Company 2's multiplayer more (let's assume the SP doesn't exist), the level design was better and more colorful, the building destruction was neat and the levels were big without being absurdly gigantic.

So it seems like that FPS X-Com game got delayed to 2014. How many times are they going to start it over?

I don't know anything about xcom or the games associated with it but DNF comes to mind with how many times they switched game engines. Or how many times they changed the entire thing

"X-COM: Enemy Unknown" looks a lot more interesting anyway.

With the first few enemies, I get my combo multiplier up to about six or so by dodging their attacks. Only takes about a minute and it makes everything after that bump your score up even more. Just try not to get hit, it resets your multiplier. Which is hard to do towards the end since the enemies like to surround you.

I'm finding the sp a little frustrating,

You are making progress though since Alan finds out more about what he has to do during each cycle.

It sucks weapon unlocks in Arena mode are tied to SP since I can't be bothered to get all manuscripts again in the campaign after doing it on the 360. Is there any cheat or file edit to unlock them all?

Edit: Noice, Steam is now down and I can't play Sniper Elite with Cake.
