What is your internet speed?

Post your current speed now. Test and post again later and see if it changes.

My speed was about 1000 kb/s 20 minutes ago, so having it being multiplied by 17x in 20 minutes is kind of rediculous. My area just got over a big network issue so I think that was the reason.







A few more tests show large variations of speed.

The other tests i did were directly hooked up into the modem.

This test is with a wireless adapter to a router to a modem which comes up with good results.



Now i wonder how that will change with all 3 of my room mates and my gaming system on the internet at once.

The last few days, I have been coming up with 2 to 3000, so this is MUCH improved for me. This number is with no traffic from my roommates, so it will be interesting to see how it changes. I will update at a busier time.

its prolly because im not wired into the router and im a floor above it/on the other side of the house. fios is damn quick.

I need to get FIOS. Time Warner is releasing this ad campaign about how they've had it for years. While they are the fastest in L.A. I've had my fair share of problems.



This test was done with STEAM running and actively downloading. Not sure if that makes a difference though.
