Need Help what the heck is going on?

Okay, so I've just joined up here, and for some reason I cannot see any threads. All I can see is the pinned threads. I can still access other threads through clicking the newest thread at the main forum section. But for some reason I can't see them. Is there something wrong? I've checked my email and there's no activation thing in there. Help please.

You need at least 400 posts before they reveal themselves. But it's totally worth it, good luck.

what? you have to be kidding me. how am I supposed to get that many posts without being able to navigate the forums? either way I don't generally post that much. The highest post count I have on any site right now is about 500, and I've been there for years. Is there any way around this? I just need to ask some modding questions.

hm... well I can see a couple of forums. the other forum I can see, though there's not as many topics as the number in the main forum view would indicate. feh.

Don't listen to Eat, he's Australian. Although so is Mipac, but the pedophilia offsets that.

You can bypass the 400 post requirement by starting some threads about Half-Life related theories in general, and the G-Man specifically. Make many references to the letters "G" and the word "man" being in both "G-Man" and "Gordon Freeman". You'll also make many friends here that way.

These forums are buggy, and we've all had problems.

Close your browser, restart your computer, delete cookies, etc.

Maybe that'll fix things, maybe not.

I've had a look at the user settings and I can't really see anything that might be preventing you from viewing topics on the forum. Go into your Control Panel on the forums, and check "Board Settings". Check these two options;

"Number of posts to show for each topic page"
and
"Number of topics to show for each forum page"

Make sure they are set to "Use forum default".

Otherwise, I'm not sure. What browser are you using?

I'm using firefox. I cleared my temp files/cookies and all that. I dunno, I guess I'll go look in my user settings.
