Is there any chance of getting post voting instituted at HLFallout? EatChildren and Blacko would know what I'm talking about. HLFallout is the perfect place to descend into chaos from such a system.

But I do like the idea, since getting a consensus on HLF'ers opinions on a post is helpful and hard when a dozen or so posts after the post in question need to be sifted through and psycho-analyzed.
It won't help with the conflicts, but it is another feature that can let someone know when they're beating a dead horse.

(I'm watching a horror TV show where the killers are told by someone possessing them "You know what you have to do", so I figure it is very commanding).

I'm with Mipac. It works surprisingly well over at PalGN. It doesn't get abused and it helps put crappy posters in their place.

It has my vote. You'll inevitably get people who bicker about being voted down, etc, but shouldn't be much more spam than admins already deal with.
