Well maybe some people enjoyed Uncharted 2's multi, but there wasn't a whole lot to it.

As far as my point, I bought those games for their campaigns.

So I can just as easily justify Battlefield 3 for its multiplayer.

If developers want to put absolutely no effort into certain aspects of their game they should just get rid of the feature and price their product accordingly. Of course, that way they wouldn't be able to trick people into paying u$60 for something that will probably be garbage.

Being content with shit doesn't help you in any way as a consumer.

Well if you get hundreds hours worth of gameplay out of the multiplayer, how is that not worth 60 bucks?

Calculating the worth of a game from the hours of gameplay you're going to get is stupid. It's the same logic people use when wasting u$100 on the MW3 LE because ~~well I'm getting my money's worth anyway!~~

All it does is encourage price inflation for future titles because publishers know people are going to pay that price. Why do you want to pay more for video games? Developers and publishers have shown time and time again that they don't care about you. So the "I WANT TO SUPPORT THEM." excuse is the video game equivalent of saying you enjoy being raped.

Which is why I don't pay full price for games very often anymore, I'll pick up BF3 when it's cheap.

Did the same with the games I provided in my previous post.

Coming from a guy who bought 3 different Wolfenstein copies, that doesn´t say a whole lot. Which had a piece of shit multiplayer btw.

Also, if they want to spend a bit extra to support a company they love, that's their choice. Just like it's your choice to buy 3 copies of Wolfenstein. Only if you buy a LE like that specifically for the plastic crap you get it with, you're pretty much just stupid. :P

I have 4 copies of Wolfenstein and 3 of them were gifted to me by various people. I also didn't pay full price for my PC copy. Posted Image

Wolfenstein's MP was a mess of management decisions and not something intentional by both developer parties. No one ever went WELP LET'S JUST THROW THIS SHIT IN TO ADD ANOTHER BULLET POINT TO THE BACK OF THE BOX as is the case most of the time.

I'm also ignoring that your strawmen arguments are stupid.

So, to reiterate:

Loving a company is a dumb and naive idea and you're a manchild if you do.

Uncharted 2's Multiplayer was so simple, that is what made it so fun for me. I've been playing it for a long time.

Right, like they didn't leave that piece of shit multiplayer in just to get a bullet point on the back of the box as well.

And saying not having a problem paying full price for a game that will last you hundreds of hours the video game equivalent of saying you enjoy being raped is just plain stupid.

Mine's finally arrived but it's having problems installing. Keeps getting to 17% and then drops down to 9% and repeats. Only got an hour before I leave for the weekend too, typical.

Started again and it's just stopped dead at 30.49% twice. Getting sick of this crap.

I'm City17 on battlelog.

Been playing through the single player before I go on multi player, really impressed by the graphics, I have a bit of slow down when I max everything out but other than than one crash I had its been pretty great.

Had one weird bug though that showed all the keybindings with 'hello' text instead of the button names, speaking of which I wish they changed the onscreen button prompts to the xbox buttons when I play with a controller.

I still don't like having a web browser open to play single player, when I play a game I shut every program off to get the best performance.

Urgh in single player the quick time events literally don't work with a controller... why did they bother putting in controller support and the completely half arse it.
