I like how they drastically change the look of Max Payne in each game.

Are we sure that face is max'?
I can see why they changed his face for the second one, but to make it a recurring thing.

To be honest, that concept art looked more like a new GTA protagonist rather then Max Payne.

I hope Max doesn't look like that in the game.

STORY PREDICTIONS:

"It was a mother*******ing morning, waking up from the piece of ******* American dream. Mother of a *******." *snorts cocaine*

Well, I wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to look like that. He was poping painkillers like crazy all through the first two games, I am pretty sure some side-effects are excpected.

It will be really interesting to see what they'll do with Max Payne. I love the Max Payne games so I hope they'll make good use of the bullet-time and dodging bullets and all that explosive action that the series are known for.

Storywise...let's just hope they won't screw up big time, the Max Payne storyline is really complex and somewhat random to be honest (drugs/dreams/the 'being in a game dream', Valhalla, evil corporations etc). It will be interesting to see what they'll do with all that stuff.

They killed of all ties to the first one in the second game both his enemies and his loved ones. Though that's a good premise for any noir story.
I just hope we get some quality overthetop monolouges and some DICK JUSTICE!!

I'm glad another Max Payne is coming out, but since Remedy isn't doing it, I'm a bit hesitant to begin jizzing in my pants like Cake.

Max Payne 2's story wasn't all that epic when compared to MP 1. Remedy really killed off all the major players from the game (junkies, Cleaners, Alfred Woden, Winterson, Russian mafia, Vlad Lem) except Max and Mona. It will be very interesting to know what has been bogging Max turning him into a violent hobo.

It will also be interesting to see what gameplay stuff they got cooked up. After playing the Wanted demo, I don't really see how MP3 will be able to add new stuff. But whatever. I'll be happy roll-diving in slo-mo while shooting people as Max Payne anyway!

I see no problem with that. It will give me that pleasantly sticky sensation without the after-guilt.

Unless they make some radical new changes to the gameplay, I won't care about this announcement. The first game executed bullet time flawlessly, and the story was "okay" enough to get you through the game without being bored. So unless they have some incredible story (which they won't) they will have to really iron out some new awesome game mechanics or you might aswell play Max Payne 1.

The story was pretty awesome and the way it was delivered was even more awesome.

It's lame that remedy isn't making this, and that it's not set in new york, and that it'll be made for consoles.
