I was just about to post this and express my extreme rage.
From the description of the video: "The 1911 semi-automatic pistol has been one of the deadliest and longest serving weapons in Max Payne's arsenal. Making a welcome return in Max Payne 3, this hard-hitting, reliable handgun - a staple since Max's NYPD days . . ."
From the video: "Max's favorite since day one"
This is the first max payne to ever feature the 1911. Both one and two showed max using the beretta 92fs as his sidearm in the graphic novel cutscenes and everywhere else in the game (it has never been a weapon in either of the max payne games). I like how rockstar are making shit up for the series.

I was revenge personified.
I remember when Max Payne 1 came out, i took it round to my cousins. My cousins uncle and he played played games, when he looked at the cover art of the game he said the guy looked like he was smelling shit. I was laughing for a good 10 minutes after that. I'm glad Sam Lake is having some input on the series.

Yeah I kept bugging them about that on their website, the first response I got was 'In case you missed when we said this before, the 1911 is inspired by some of the classic weapons from the first two games in the series'
Which was a lame response so I'm glad they changed it, not really a fan of that gun anyway but I have no idea why they were acting like that was a classic max payne weapon when it hasn't been in either of the other games.

I'd much rather have a crapload of dlc that furthers the singleplayer story. You know, what the max payne games have been all about before rockstar decided that everything should have multiplayer

Yep I'd pay a lot of money for single player... I just can't see myself spending a lot of time playing multiplayer never mind paying for dlc for it.

Also, every game needs to have MP these days. Another bullet point at the back of the box and more sales.
Edit: nnnnnnnnnnnnnoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
