And it would be good to play another mp game with him, only crysis 2 and serious sam 3 so far (the latter had such atrocious lag for me that I couldn't stand it for too long)

Indeed.

Important part of Payne's character was the transformation from good and decent, ordinary cop into this fugitive killing machine we all loved or hated. And this transformation happened in two stages:
1. His family was butchered.
2. His best buddy was murdered and Max framed.

It doesn't have to go any deeper or darker than that.

But still I love free (quality) comics - keep 'em coming.
