No preload yet, but my release date is now May 31st. What the hell . . . seriously.

EDIT . . . So it looks like there will be a pre load, and it'll be sometime tonight?

With a 75 hour download, it seems your release date is June 2 at the earliest, no matter what Steam is telling you now.

I'm usually at 1.5 to 2 mbps so it looks like I'll be settling in for a 37 to 50 hour wait. Ugh...If I had known they weren't going to pre-load with a decent time window, I would have purchased a boxed copy.

Yea, but it's too late now for me to cancel this pre-order and go retail, I'll just have to play it a couple of days late

Retail version was leaked without a crack. 26GB.

You could download that now and copy the game files over to its Steam folder during release.

Just got it, installing now (4 DVD's)

It better not have a release date check.

Installation took an hour. It does have a release date check.

When i try and play the game it seems as if they will let you patch it once its official release date has been reached which sucks.

Tha fact that there hasn't been a preload yet and release according to Steam is 15 hours away, makes me a bit suspicious if I can play it tomorrow. My internet is blazing fast, but Steam servers will be badly hammered so I doubt I would get max speeds anyway. Though if it is released in the morning before I have to go to work, there's a chance it's ready when I get home from work. Fingers crossed!

I like how the installation folder already has a DLC folder (with DLC already in it)

I think they are doing a similar thing that they did with Red Dead where they give quite a bit of small free dlc and then charge you for bigger stuff. Think most of it is multiplayer stuff. I'd be fine with some single player content though!
