Oh sweet, the loading times are the exact same as the console versions.

Also, the mouse aiming is fucked and seems to have acceleration since it speeds up significantly when you want to turn around.

I haven't seen any loading...

I'm not a fan of the mouse aiming when on the ground, although I guess it's reasonable that it would be slower. I also don't like how you only get the aiming reticule when holding the right button or already shooting. I've also had it disappear behind Max when aiming around a corner.

Other than those minor gripes, this game is awesome

Try skipping cutscenes, they mask the loading times and they're still the exact same of those in the XBox 360 version reading off the disc. You'll find you can't skip them until they're 90% done. Have fun with those two minute long cutscenes when playing on Arcade mode!
It's terrible.

And the mouse aiming I mean sometimes you barely touch it and you do a 180º and sometimes it's slow, there seems to be no rhyme or reason why it's like that even with Vsync disabled.

How well optimised is it? Rockstar have been pretty shit with their pc ports do far.

Can you only view your Steam downloads on the iPhone app? Couldn't find that feature on Android. Was wondering if it's downloaded yet.

You should be able to do it from your phone browser too.

Loading times are pretty fast for me. Mouse controls work fine too.
My only problem is that in the 4 hours of playing there were 2,5 hours of cutscenes.

Playing at 1600x900, it's stretched and looks like shit. Good job Rockstar.

Oh, okay. I haven't had to skip any yet.

I haven't had any mouse aiming problems like that.

It's pretty well optimised. I'm running at 1680 x 1050 (or something close to that) with 4x FSAA and everything on High or Very High and haven't had any problems on my 2 year old PC.

Well took ages to install and took up most of my hard drive but I played a little of it and its pretty good so far. But annoyed how when I started it up it chose the smallest resolution and I couldn't change it without watching the intro which pissed me off having to watch it in shitty quality, the graphics are pretty good in game, I'm getting some audio stutter when it transitions from video clip to in game graphics. Also I seem to be running low on ammo all the time and have had a few times where I have had no bullets so I had to run head on into enemies to get their ammo, maybe I need to move around a little more. I hate not been able to look around the levels though, I know its part of the mission to rush forward but it pisses me off that it just instantly fails you after a pretty short time. Never did that in the other Max Payne games.

Not amazed with the game so far but its still pretty fun.

I agree about the intro, that pissed me off. And it gives you time to explore levels after those first two.

Dear Time Warner Cable,
You killed my internet for whatever reason for four hours while I slept after I got home from work and started the Max Payne 3 download. I could be playing it right now, but I have to finish it first. Time left currently: 3 hours. I hate you.
