That telescopic bow is just ludicrous looking. We're used to hiding entire arsenals and kilotons of loot in our pockets in videogames, our suspension of disbelief is just fine with that.
In related news,ubisoft Eidos promissed that Thi4f should be at least as good as Deus Ex human revolution. Its probably just hot air, but at least they're taking it seriously.

Apparently some of their staff, including the lead level designer, have moved on to other companies during T4 development... Might have something to do with why it's been so long since we've seen a public update.
That said, I'm confused as to who the guy in the trailer is? It's not Garrett, his eyes are both intact (though it's hard to tell, I could be wrong). And it's clearly not the little girl from the end of Thief 3.

I'm pretty sure it's Garrett and this is a reboot. The original idea for Thief 4 when Ion Storm had the IP was to set it with a new Garrett in the present but still keep the steampunk elements.
