Half-Life Fallout: New site banner from Warvan - Half-Life Fallout

So, Warvan, in his great magnificence, graced us with a new glory of wallpapers to feast our eyes upon.

Immediately, there was a great uproar... but what is that you can hear in the midst of the roar? Holy mother of gooses! These weren't flames, as is usual in HLF roarings...this was love!

So, many folks bid Master Warvan to make that beauty into a banner, and after making our eyes bleed rainbows with this puppy:

He quickly got into the game and adapted his design to fit a banner format.

His pre-emptive strike can be seen here:

His magic fingers are now working on an altered design, putting Gordon in the central position, like the one true Free man he is, surrounded by his apostles...and probably other new fancy ideas that our measly non-godlike aesthetic vision cannot possibly foresee

This thread is designed to discuss ideas based on Warvan's designs, comment, give constructive ideas, and for Warvan himself to post his pics and ideas.

It looks awesome but Alyx and Gordon should really be in the middle. The site is called HALF-LIFE fallout. Why would the two stars of the game this site is named after be pushed off to the side?

EDIT: I think it might be even better if he added some more characters. Just toss in a *******-ton of characters to sort of show off the whole cast of the Valve games. Sort of something like this:

I disagree, too crowded is not an option, it lacks readability.

This website (whatever it's called, I don't know...)

crammed every VALVe game in their banner, and as you can see, they ran out of space. It still looks kinda good, but I really don't think that's the way we should be taking with HLF. Our site design has always been about being straightforward and subdued.

I think all the characters Warvan's original idea, maybe mixed around a little, in a big enough resolution to be legible would be great.

I'ma likn' what I see! However I recommend less saturated coloration of the characters, and yeah Alyx and Gordon should really be in the middle, but I think that'll turn out fine!
