Having noticed there was no AC 2 thread, I thought I'd remedy that. There's already been a few things posted about it in the original AC thread, but I'll repeat what we know. The game is set to be released on Nov. 17th (same day as L4D2!) this year on the PC, PS3, and XBOX 360. The story picks up right after the first one ended and you step into the shoes of Ezio, a nobel turned assassin out for blood. Set in Venice, you'll be helped by Da Vinci and his weird/amazing contraptions. One of which are a blade on each wrist and modifications that don't require a finger to be missing for the blade to be extended. Discuss!

Its pretty good, but doesn't hold a candle to AC1's music trailer, which was one of the best trailers EVAR. Also, a slight issue I had with AC1 was lack of blood :( I guess its not resolved for the sequel.

I'm playing the first one on PS3 lately and I have to say . . . not all that impressed. It's entertaining, but finding all of the tall buildings and helping all of the citizens feels like I'm grinding out objectives more than I am actually playing a game and enjoying it.

AC isn't a very good game. Just very pretty to look at. I think the sequel will be far better.

That (the grinding) was issue they openly were trying to address with AC2, and I've read the objectives are varied enough to dodge that bullet this time. Heres to hoping.
