I finally got this game, and finished it. I really enjoyed this game, when it worked...which was most of the time. Despite a few broken mechanics in combat and building climbing, I found the game to be highly enjoyable. Immensely better than the first one, and I highly enjoyed the first one as well. 
The CTF part during Sequence 9 really pissed me off though.

Don't worry, AC2 was fully cracked months ago, now you can play a working game illegally but not immorally.
It was one of the most enjoyable games I have played in recent memory, sadly it didn't really hold much replay value.

True, once you get 100% of everything, there's really no reason to continue playing it. I only played through the first one once as well.
I hope the multiplayer in Brotherhood gives some much needed replay value to the series.

Dear Video Game Developers,
Stop trying to copy film and their trailers every waking moment of your life. While hilarious more often than not, it just comes across as depressing and insecure. Video games are not deep and thought-provoking no matter how much you and your audience would like to think.

AC2 was terrible.
Brotherhood will probably be terrible as well.

I really liked AC2 until I reached Venice, then the story went nowhere and the gameplay became boring and repetitive. Gonna download Brotherhood when I feel like playing it to see if they fixed my complaints.
