Going to Honolulu! :-D

This thread is inspired by Drewism's current thread about Los Angeles. As some of you might know, I am getting married this summer. After that, I'm taking my blushing bride to Hawaii, where there are oceans and trees and stuff. My question is this:

Has anyone been to Hawaii before? Any suggestions on what sites we should see? Suggestions of a sexual nature are unnecessary, but I expect I'll receive them anyway. Seriously though, if anyone's been, what was the coolest thing?

I've got a list about 10 years long of things I want to do in Hawaii, so I might have to go back sometime. I'm looking at Hawaiian Pidgin lately, so I might be able to understand people who just speak that.

The people I know that have gone always talk about the helicopter rides to see the volcanos.

I lived on Oahu for about 8 months. Definitely make it a point to drive up to Waimea Bay, the waves there are always huge and you can watch people try to take on those massive waves. Also, driving on the H3 northbound gives you absolutely an incredible view of Kaneohe Bay. Driving east on the H1, you can find a couple pull offs along the road where you can walk around on really neat volcanic rock formations. If I think of anything else I'll be sure to post it here, but those were my fondest memories of Oahu.

Be sure to put it in her pooper.

Congratulations! I am interested in going there as well. So I'd like to hear the input on this thread.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. Anyone else?

I'm super stoked. I live in Oklahoma so there's nothing but flat land, some trees, and a couple of hills. I hear there are cool trees, mountains, AND ocean in Hawaii! :-P

If you'd asked me before, I would have suggested you go to San Francisco. Your best bet is to give her the f******* of a life time so that she doesn't have the energy to leave the hotel.

But if we don't leave the hotel, how do we see the pretty things?

Any woman worth her salt should admire your manhood all day long.

Are you going to any other islands? Sorry I just skimmed the thread. Congrats on getting married!

I went to Hawaii once and it was beautiful. But I spent time on the big island of Hawaii, Maui, and Kauai. I briefly saw Honolulu but its more commercial. A city basically. Nice beaches but imho, the other islands are where its at.
