Just like a 24inch screen is just a huge 14inch screen, nothing more, nothing less? :P I'm not totally sold on it, and I'm not going to buy one in a near future, but it's pretty nifty for sure.

For reading, watching videos and using certain web-interfaces more easily, that "hugeness" is precisly what you'd need.

Even if Apple came out with iToiletPaper, morons will buy it. Apple's line of products for consumers are a total ripoff, and I dread to see hipster douchebags with ipads around campus.

The problem with new Apple devices is the same problem with all of them. People start rumors, most of the time unreasonable. They start to believe it, and when they turn out to be false people start bitching at Apple for not doing what they want. Do you see the flaw here?

The picture at neva- posted. Why would you want this thing to make phone calls? Download and use Skype. HDMI output? Use the video-out cable instead.

This isn't the perfect device, not even close. Why get so worked up about it? You don't have to get one.

Thats not the only problem with apple devices

HDMI output for playing those HD films maybe ?
