We need to change the forums

3 forums:
Half-Life
Other Gaming
Off Topic
This way you don't have to browse through a million different sub forums to check on posts.
I dunno about you but i never ever browse the forums, i just use the top 10 on the front page, if a posts goes from that list i'll probably never look a that thread again unless it gets back into the top10.
This will encourage people to post more as topics wont get lost deep down in some dark obscure sub forum next to Guillermo's butt

Agreed.
There's too many subforums to look through, it's unnecessary.

I dunno about you guys but normally a folder named "Stuff" has the same thing a folder named "2006 Tax Returns" would have in it.... Porn.
I mean seriously its not that bad. You gonna talk TF2 go to TF2. LF4D go to L4D section. ect ect.

What's the point in having a load of sub forums, just have all HL stuff under one category, way easier to find that way,
Half-Life (All HL related, hl mods, tf2, l4d, steam etc)
Other Gaming
Off topic (hardware and software, creative design, everything else)
Easy, simple.

I think this would only work if nobody visits the forums. I say to have a random thread lookup below the recent posts to motivate more topics

Behold the future!!!1
It works better than the top 10 and doesn't need to effect the organized lay-out that actual helps you find (older) topics.

Then next to each post title have a small image showing what is it about, such as a picture of an Xbox 360 next to threads about 360 exclusive games.
