Okay, so I tried having IRC help me out but no luck.
Basically, I have a computer about 50ft (18 meters) away that I'm trying to connect to my router. It's a straight shot with only a window between the two. Anyway, for the past year or so it has been working fine, however just recently it started having the issue of browsing the internet for a few minutes and then wont load a page.
I've power cycled the router a few times, upgraded the firmware that was available and I'm still having the same issue. After that I reset the router back to factory settings and the computer is still having the same problem.
I thought it was something in the room that I'm trying to connect the computer to, so I disabled the cordless phone, but still the same issue and I moved the wireless adapter outside and its still having the same issue; so I dont think its anything interfering with the connection.
So I come to you HLFallout, halp me.

Ive had about 3 Linksys routers and each only lasted about two-three years. The routers began to drop connections and the frequency increased over time. Save yourself the hassle and just buy a new router from your local electronics retailer. Give it a try for a few days and if that doesn't help, just return it (check their return policy first!)
One of my routers lost wireless but retained its wired abilities.. maybe antenna corrosion or something?

I had a Linksys one that did the same thing.

The only things I can think of are that your internet connection is being a bitch, or maybe somebody is leeching off your network.
Right now I'd rule that out, I have a buddy across the street with the same ISP and he hasn't had any issues with them. Also secured network so I doubt that as well.

Wire > Wireless imo. Maybe go buy a long Ethernet cable.
Eh, something I'd like to avoid for the moment.
So far I haven't had any issues with it at the moment. I've pretty much just opened the connection (not that big of an issue, I live in the sticks) and none of the other comps have had any issues.
