I've never played a Professor Layton but I've heard great things. Ace Attorney is one of my favorite franchise ever. I have every game but I'm only on AJ.

That shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone, Japan are several games ahead of us in the Layton series, and probably also in the attorney games, although I'm not sure about the latter.
