There's some sort of app that details the process leading up to the release and in it the there's some basic brainstorming writing about the ending which seems to have as a primary point "Lot's of speculation for everyone".
If that's the main point you are going for than it's clear the ending is going to feel half-assed.

They already announced their solution to the ending outcry and it's an extended cut(scene).
I can't help but feel that the ending is beyond simple explanation and clarification, but it apparently takes some of your choices throughout the game into consideration.

Why would they do that? It's not like they've promising for years that your choices throughout the three games would heavily influence the outcome of ME3.

Not a bad idea. Although, I didn't think the ending was that bad. Well, it wasn't bad enough to make me RAGE QUIT.

If this is the prequel to Mass Effect 3 like it says, then what does that make Mass Effect 2, the pre-prequel? Also, the studio might be good but the writers are the same ones that brought us that shitheap Clone Wars cartoon.
