OH yes YES YES! This game... is so ... Well damn, I'm speechless.

Everything is right! The atmosphere is amazing, the puzzles are good, GLaDOS is deliciously evil. (Only up to chamber 15 so far, I'm forcing myself to take a break just to make everything last longer).

I haven't touched coop yet, but I'm disapointed at the F'ing coop bot customization existing. More TF2 hat whoring, whopee!

EDIT: Forgot to mention. If a funny game's writing quality can be judged by how many seconds it takes for the player to laugh out loud...it got me at trying to speak :D

Finished it. I like! Imho, Portal 1 is more memorable with Still Alive and all that. Also, Portal 2 wasn't as long as I thought, but good challenging puzzles. Funny too.

I'm kinda worried about that day 1 $80 DLC.
Also the user response has been generally negative regarding its length.
<Brumisator> dr matta is starting to act more and mor like the retarded part of gui's brain when he posts

The single player is ~6+ hours, probably closer to 7 or 8. It's short, but it's rock solid from start to finish. It's also only two thirds of the game. Anybody going in expecting a longer single player, when there's an entire co-op campaign too, is an idiot.

But I'm sure people will find something stupid to complain about. Already folk are pissy there's next to no Episode 3 references. Because, you know, that was totally going to happen.

Entitlement generation, do your work.

Really really dig this game. Especially how it throws you forth and back with the environments and how the environment told a bit of Apeture Science history.
Also liked the hints of the relation it has with the HL-universe.

They outdid themselves with this game. Haven't played coop section but will soon. I agree with Brumisator on the customisation part. Wth were they thinking. Do I care how my Apeture Science robots look like? No, when it essentially is about solving the puzzles together.

There already appear to be hints in this game. There is one radio transmission in a hidden Ratman lair and one in a commentary node in another Ratman lair. They seem not to be morsecode. Maybe pictures of Episode? I doubt it hopefully they will get solved quick.

EDIT:

!SPOILERS! Here are the links for both transmission: first one and second one
Also lulz for this achievement: Do click me if you want to spoil yourself

By 'nuke' they mean meltdown of your computer's cores. Chernobyl was just the alpha test of Crysis.

Just finished it. Compared to all the other single player Valve endings, it gets about a 4 out of 10.

I JUST WANT SOMETHING ELSE TO TIE IT TO HL2 ARRRFGGGHHHH

I am a little annoyed I can't interact with stuff. This is a Source game, is it not? Why can't I throw chairs?

Overall, though... Pretty damn good. Not disappointed.

I could have sworn I did, but went back in and said it was disabled.
